25 militants killed in last 24 hours: ISPR


ISLAMABAD: Twenty-five terrorists including miscreants commander, Abu Saeed Misbah ud Din and Sultan Khan, were killed and 3 were apprehended in various areas of operation in the last 24 hours, Director General ISPR Maj. Gen. Athar Abbas said here on Saturday. One soldier embraced Shahadat and 4 were injured including 1 civilian driver in exchange of fire, he said while giving updates to the media.

CIA seeks to broaden foreign language skills

Iran hangs three over Friday mosque bombing

TEHRAN: Iran executed in public three men convicted of involvement in a deadly mosque bombing in the southeast of the country, the news agency reported on Saturday.

"Three people convicted of being involved in the recent terrorist bombing in Zahedan were hanged in public on Saturday morning," the news agency said, adding that the execution took place near the mosque where the bombing took place.

A provincial official said on Friday that the people behind the bombing were hired by the United States, an accusation Washington rejected.

Security forces kill ten extremists in Dir


DIR: The security forces killed at least 10 security personnel and recovered the caches of arms and ammunitions during operations in several parts of Dir, the security sources said Saturday.

There are reports regarding clashes between the security forces and the extremists in various areas including Kalpani and Gul Derai, where seven extremists were killed.
