PESHAWAR: Fast bowler Umar Gul was warmly welcomed on reaching his native village Nawankali after displaying brilliant performance in the World Twenty20 Cup played in England.Umar Gul arrived in Islamabad from Karachi and went to Peshawar by road to reach his native village Nawankali.
His fans and friends in large number warmly received him in Nawankali and showered rose petals on him and garlanded him. They also chanted slogans in his favour.
Umar Gul said that he is very glad on Pakistan’s success in the World Twenty20 Cup.
