ISLAMABAD: Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Ramiz Raja, declaring the Pakistan victory against South Africa a good omen, said that the national cricket team after defeating Proteas now can easily win the final of the World Twenty20 Cup 2009.Talking with Geo News, the former captain said that the victory against a big team like South Africa is an outcome of the best team combination.
Praising the performance of Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul, he said that both these players have played an important role in the team’s victory.
Replying to a question, Ramiz said that Abdul Razzaq is a good cricketer but fresh cricketers be given more chances in Twenty20 cricket.
He said that his favourite team for the final would be Pakistan only.
