Sri Lanka win toss, put Australia into bat

NOTTINGHAM: Sri Lanka's captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and elected to field in the World Twenty20 group C match against Australia at Trent Bridge here on Monday.

Australia, stunned by the West Indies in their opening match, need a win to stay in the tournament. Sri Lanka are playing their first match.
